Well, there's many. But one of them is definitely nail polish.
It seems like every time I go out to the store I buy a new nail polish. It's just really fun to own a crapton of colors and paint your nails according to your mood.
There's a really cool 'try on this color' option on OPI's website, where you can see how any of their colors will look in the bottle and on your nails.
Some tips for nail application:
-Before painting your nails, make sure that you swipe over them with nail polish remover. Any oil on your nails will prevent the polish from adhering to the nail, and make the polish chip.
-If you're using a dark polish, you should apply a base coat underneath it. By doing this, you prevent your nails from looking narsty and yellow.
If, however, you receive this little piece of advice too late, here's a little home remedy to help remove some of the yellowness:
Soak your nails in a bowl with 1/2 cup of water and about 3 tbsp of lemon juice for 15 minutes.
-Dark nail polish takes longer to dry than lighter polish.
-Before applying the polish, rub the bottle between your hands (like your an evil villain coming up with a great plan) instead of shaking it.
The colors I'm currently sporting:
